Jesus – who he is and what he has done for us, is central to our faith and what we do as a church. It is our desire to be a warm, friendly and welcoming church where people can come with their questions as they are, and journey with us.

Our Values

Jesus and the Gospel in Focus
The gospel is the good news of what Jesus has done for us by grace on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven. We want to keep Jesus and the gospel at the centre of everything we do as a church. (1 Cor. 15:1–6).

Dependence on the Holy Spirit
As individual believers and as a church, our lives are dependent on the work of the Holy Spirit. When He dwells within us, He empowers us to live in this world as God’s people. We desire to be dependent on the Spirit in all that we do. (Rom. 8:11-14)

The Local Church
We believe that God's primary way of reaching the world with His love and grace is through the local church. We want to be a local church that is involved in the community. (Eph. 3:10)

We love Torsby!
The Gospel calls us to be light and salt where we are. We want to be a church that loves and serves others within our community and cultural context. (Matt. 5:16)

Bible Teaching
The Bible is the living word of God. In it we have everything we need for life and godliness. The Bible teaches, rebukes, corrects and trains us in righteousness. We submit to the full authority of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Prayer is our driving force
We believe that God answers prayer according to His great plans and purposes. We want to be a church that is driven by prayer, seeking God first before we do anything. (1 Thess. 5:17)

God-Centered Worship
God desires true worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. It is our goal to worship God in Spirit and in Truth as a church and as individuals. (John 4:23)

International
The gospel is good news for all the peoples of the world. As a church, we want to be open to all different nationalities. We strive to have a heart for every tribe, language, and nation. (Rev. 7:9)
